It’s only when we look round at our own estate, or little part of old england that we realise how nice it is to own or be buying your home. Renting is fine for those who are either moving a lot with job etc. but that feeling of permanency, of knowing your roots are being put down and you belong there is something money can’t really buy. I have lived in my house for a number of years, it was brand new and of course, it was wildly exciting to have a new home. Seeing the sheer number of newer homes coming on stream, all family sized but with only one parking space, no working family can have two cars anymore. It’s all a case of compromise. What was once the norm, is no longer so. Compromise is the name of the game. when it comes to making a decision on buying a new build or established old one.
